It’s Giving Season—Support What You Love

Give the gift of getting people passionate about public lands.

As national park lovers, the thing that unites us all is our shared passion for public lands. Whether you’re a hiker, a sightseer or a history buff, our national parks and other public lands mean just as much to you as they do to our team at National Park Trips. This holiday season, as we’re making our lists and checking them twice, we’re making sure to include organizations that help inspire that love for parks, and protect the places we love to recreate in.

In spring of this year, our parent company, Outside, Inc. launched Find Your Good and partnered with 14 nonprofit organizations that share our mission to get everyone outside in support of a healthy planet. We’re hoping to raise $2,500 for our three partners in the outdoor and sustainability space, each working to inspire more people to get outside and fight for our public lands. We need your help!

Providing transformative outdoor experiences that strengthen life skills and build community for youth from disinvested communities

The goal: If we reach $2,500, Big City Mountaineers will be able to take 20 kids out on their first-ever dayhike. Bonus: Smartwool will match what we can raise up to $2,500. So your donation gets automatically doubled.

Training and empowering youth to be effective leaders at the intersection of the environmental and climate justice movements

The goal: $2,500. This amount will allow Earth Guardians to bring together 10 youth for a 5-day leadership training. The training includes a visit to a current field project where the students will assess what’s working there, followed by coaching on how they can lead, supervise, and organize actions within their own communities.
